Alumni Homecoming Weekend 2016
September 30th – October 2nd
Saint Paul’s School proudly celebrated Homecoming during the week of September 21st. The students and faculty began the week with the special privilege of “Dress Down Days” which included: America Day, Beach Day, Twin Day, Jersey Day, and Gold Out on Friday.
On Friday members of the Student Council sponsored a special order out fundraiser lunch in conjunction with Mug Shots, and Saint Paul’s Alumnus, Chris McDonald owner of the popular eatery. Hamburgers, fries and cookies was the lunch special.
Friday afternoon, the administration, faculty, and student body attended a pep rally, which included the presentation of the court. The court was also presented at half time of the Friday night game in Hunter Stadium against Northshore which began at 7:00pm, with the traditional crowning of the queen. Students serving on the court this year are: Queen, senior Kerilynn Walsh, daughter of Mark and Kathy Walsh; Senior Alyssa Asaro, daughter of Jimmy and Debbie Asaro; Senior Camille Royerre, daughter of Frank and Debby Royerre; and Senior Elizabeth Simoneaux, daughter of Todd and Dee Simoneaux.
Alumni from the class of 1991, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their graduation from Saint Paul’s, were Chris Pierson, Chris Freret, Brett Freret, and Jay Coutrado.

Saint Paul’s School celebrated Homecoming during the week of October 11th. A number of special events were planned for the students and alumni. The week began with a celebration for the youngest members of the school with the prefreshmen and freshmen dance in the Briggs Assembly Center on Saturday, October 11th.
The student body participated in the annual dress down days which include: Mythology Monday, Tuxedo Tuesday, Pink Wednesday in honor of Breast Cancer Month, Lumber Jack Thursday, and Roman Friday.
On Friday, October 17th the Alumni Association held the annual Joseph A. Champagne/Gene Bennett Golf Tournament at Tchefuncta Country Club. While, on campus the students had a special pep-rally in the Gene Bennett Sports Complex with a presentation of the court at the end of the school day.
The Wolves met Northshore on the field of Hunter Stadium with kickoff at 7:00pm. The court was presented at halftime of the game. Queen Megan Haydel was crowned and presented with the traditional bouquet of yellow roses. Students serving on the court this year are: Queen, senior Megan Haydel, daughter of Michael and Constance Haydel; Senior Gabrielle Chaix, daughter of Richard and Leslie Chaix; Senior Maggie Otillio, daughter of Kenny and Michelle Otillio; and Senior Juliette St. Romain, daughter of alumnus Jeff St. Romain ’87 and Melita St. Romain.
Alumni from the class of 1990, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their graduation from Saint Paul’s, were Bryan Billiot, Casey Richie, Jason Kaufmann, and Chris Fajoni.
Saint Paul’s School celebrated Homecoming for 2013 with a number of special events including the Friday night game against Hammond High beginning at 7:00 pm in Hunter Stadium. On Friday alumni, friends and supporters of the school gathered at Tchefuncta Country Club to participate in the Joseph A. Champagne, Jr./Gene Bennett Memorial Golf Tournament. Awards were presented to the winners at 3:30.
In addition to the alumni events faculty and the student body celebrated the week with a number of special activities. The underclassmen danced the night away in the Briggs Assembly Center on Saturday, September 28th. The upperclassmen will celebrate with a dance in the Briggs Center on Saturday, October 12th.
The faculty and student body participated in dress down days as part of the celebration: Monday, make a donation for cancer research and wear pink, Twin Tuesday, Beach Day on Wednesday, Hand-Me Down Thursday, and Pirate Day on Friday. Friday will also be the traditional Homecoming Game Day Pep-Rally at 2:30. Presentation of the court will be at halftime of the football game.
Members of the court from Saint Scholastica Academy included: Senior Carley Boyce, daughter of Graham and Leslie Boyce; Senior Madeline Luke and daughter of Dayna and Jerry Luke; Senior Hailey Osbon, daughter of alumnus of ’83 Carey Osbon and Kellie Osbon; and junior Livi Priola, daughter of Tara and Tony Priola. Senior Carly Boyce was crowned as queen.
Saint Paul’s School celebrated Homecoming 2012 with a football game against Slidell High School, on Friday, October 12th. The week preceding the game was peppered with a number of special activities organized by the members of the Student Council. The student council sponsored dress down days from Monday to Friday with thematic attire including: crazy hat day, twin day, breast cancer awareness day, college day, and blue and gold day.
Members of the court from Saint Scholastica Academy include: Senior honor roll student, Isabella Healy, the daughter of Dunbar and Liz Healy of Covington; Sophomore honor roll student, Allyson Lacoste, is the daughter of Kenny and Kathy Lacoste, of Mandeville; Junior, honor student, Hailey Osbon, is the daughter of Saint Paul’s Alumnus, Carey Osbon ‘83, and Kellie Osbon, of Covington; Senior honor student, Alexis Sembera, is the daughter of Roy and Wendy Sembera, of Covington and Senior honor student, Rose Simoneaux, is the daughter of Todd and Dee Simoneaux of Covington.
