Important Dates

8th Grade Applicant in a Catholic Elementary School in
the Archdiocese of New Orleans

School Year 2017-2018

October 29, 2016 –   Attend Saint Paul’s Open House at 1:00pm in the Briggs Assembly Center.

November 9, 2016 – Archdiocesan application available for download beginning on November 9th (click here).

November 16, 2016 –
Applicant should return completed application form to current Catholic School principal

November 18, 2016 – Applicant should return completed St. Paul’s Application for Admission form to Saint Paul’s. Do not send a registration fee. (Tan form in information packet)

November 18, 2016 – One page letter from applicant stating why he would like to attend Saint Paul’s should be turned into Saint Paul’s Application Committee stating why student wants to attend Saint Paul’s and how he will benefit from our program.

January 7, 2017 – Attend Application Day Placement Test beginning at 8:00am. A fee of $20 is due on testing day to cover testing costs. Parents will receive test results. The fee should be brought to testing day, not sent with application or given to elementary school. No student may attend Application Day testing at more than one school.

March 2, 2017 – Saint Paul’s will mail letters with admission decisions.

the Archdiocese of New Orleans

School Year 2017-2018

  • completed application
  • copy of last year’s final school report card
  • copy of current report card for this year
  • copy of at least one recent standardized test
  • one page letter from applicant to indicate why students wants to attend Saint Paul’s and how he will benefit from our program

Mid-December –
 Saint Paul’s will send applicant letter confirming receipt of application materials. Note: you are free to apply to another Catholic school at this time. Submitting documents does not assure an offer of admission. Documents of students not admitted will be destroyed or returned.
