SUPPORT IN ALL ASPECTS
Guiding Growth Beyond the Classroom
The main goal of the department is to focus on the academic, social, and emotional development of the young men entrusted to our care in a myriad of ways: academic assistance, career and college counseling, standardized test prep, and personal counseling.
Counseling Director Welcome
The Counseling Department is located on the first floor of La Salle Hall. The main goal of the department is to focus on the academic, social and emotional development of the young men entrusted to our care. Throughout the school year counselors provide classroom lessons, workshops and presentations on different topics, academic assistance, college and career planning in addition to personal counseling.
The Counseling Department has created a standardized testing program that provides annual benchmarks for student achievement. Counselors, teachers, and parents use this valuable information to monitor student progress and assist in individual curriculum decisions.
The Student Services Coordinator is a member of the Counseling staff and works with parents, teachers as well as students to offer appropriate accommodations for students with documented exceptionalities. Although Saint Paul’s does not offer a special education program, the school is committed to offering the assistance each student needs to be successful.
